Plugged my phone into my I-Trip, and watched it die right in front of my eyes. I took it to the genius bar, and they told me my phone had water damage, and they wouldn't replace it. When I looked at the I-Trip prongs, they were corroded, and must have corroded the inside of the phone when I attached the I-Trip to it. There is no water damage, though-just a transfer of corrosion that must have killed the phone.
Do I have a case for a replacement I-Phone, does anyone think? They denied my claim because of water, but no water actually touched the phone. I'd hate to be out the money for a new one.
Thanks!
