I have a macbook pro and I upgraded to Yosemite. Every thing was great for a few weeks. Then I experienced CRAZY wifi drops and my video card went nuts. So I un-installed Yosemite and reinstalled Mavericks and now I have my Macbook acting like it should be. I did back up everything... or so I thought. There was one important Textedit file in iCloud. I remember it saying something like other devices not upgraded fully would lose access to the files in iCloud. I saw no problem with this at first. But now I need that file that I forgot about. I have an iPad with the newest version of ios8 but my mac is using mavericks. Is there ANY way to get that file? I can see that i have A LOT of textedit files in iCloud from my iPad but they all say encrypted.

EDIT:
I figured it out!

I didn't realize I could just sign into iCloud.com and download my old files!!!! YAY!!! So easy... >.>
