Hello guys, my niece recently broke my macbook pro i think its mid 2011/2012 (not sure). I want to replace the screen and maybe the battery too. I'm currently writing on the laptop however half of the left part of the screen is totally black and I can't check the model numbers on the mac icon. On the back side it says Model: A1398 I'm almost certain its a 17 inch model it doesn't have an optical drive and I think (not sure) it has retina display. I don't have access to the receipt nor the box, is there any other way to view the model.
