So I got a 10 gig, and i just hooked it up the my computer for a few hours, and it said it was all charged up...i disconnected and the battery graphic wasnt even full...even though all the bars were there...

can someone explain ? !

Ive been a little nervous because i felt i hadnt gotten a full 8 hours of battery life ...now this...

am i being paranoid...the user guide is SO thin on the hows and whys....

If I charge it and dont use it...am i losing battery life in sleep mode ?

ok..Im freaking myself out lol...any help would be great.

no worries. play a few songs and you'll see the bar go to full. this behavior popped up w/ a recent firmware change and has been discussed numerous times.

Eventually it will die in sleep mode even if you don't use it. I think the time period is like 10 days though. And if you don't use your iPod for 10 days, please ship it to me.

Thanks for the tip... I was wondering the same thing myself after updating the firmware..

The battery does indeed 'increase' after using it for a bit.
