HELP!!! i'm new!!

Hi there, i'm new in Mac, i bought my very first macbook pro 2011 15" on april... but after a while i realize its not fast enough to do my photography works. it run extremely slow when opening raw image....



What HDD brand is suitable for my macbook pro 2011 15"? beside SSD, and will it improve the speed if i upgrade to 8gb?

I think you mean RAM... and not HDD when you mention upgrading to 8gb. RAM will help with performance of working with images.

RAW images take an enormous amount of RAM; consider more RAM as a start.
