My iMac G5 isn't recognizing (ie: displaying the CD or DVD on the desktop or in the Finder) blank CD-Rs or DVD-Rs that I'm feeding it. Both are checked in the Finder Prefs to be displayed in these respective locations. It's worked fine with both in the past, what should I try?

Upon further investigation, commercial and burnt CDs and DVDs worked fine, and after I put in a burnt CD, the next blank CD-R (the same one I'd tried before) I used showed up fine. So I guess the iMac was just having a bad morning.
