I upgraded from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 today (without a disc) and my computer now freezes. The mouse cursor still moves but everything else is frozen (cant choose an app etc, etc).

This has not happened before. I'd rather not go back to 10.5.8. as I wanted better quality apps but if that is what I need to do then so be it. Would really appreciate your help :)

Some people have reported that their iMacs work fine on 10.6.3, others it's 10.6.6. You can go back down to 10.5.8 if you want, it shouldn't freeze anymore for you.
