HELP! iMac problem!

I was trying to wake my iMac form sleep mode after waking up this morning. Nothing was happening but my external HD was still on so I knew the iMac was on. So i hard reset it and powered it on and a message appeared saying your iMac restarted because of a problem. HELP!!!!

what year? Have applecare?
EDIT: it has thunderbolt, so it must be new... Saw ur sig. Call applecare

If this is the only time it happens, I'd just let if go ... if it happens again, then worry about it.

Do you have Applecare? Is it still under warranty?

I got it in May.

Then, if it happens again, I'd take it to the Apple Store.
