I'm trying to import video to a new Mac mini m1 with the latest iOS. My DVD has two folders: video_rm and video_ts. The rm folder has three files: video_rm.bup .dat and .ifo. The ts folder has the same plus video_ts.vob and some vts.ifo and .vob files.

None of these play or can be imported into iMovie or QuickTime.

Can someone please help me and tell me how to import these old videos. TYIA
 
It's a while since I've done this, but I used to use Handbrake or Ripit. Handbrake is free, with Ripit you can use it 10 times before you need a licence.
