hi everyone
I bought a used retina almost a year ago, it was barely used. Once at home, I didnt reset everything, I simply made sure to cancel all names and references to old owner and set myself as administrator.

Fast forward to today.

Google Chrome is everyday more and more synchronized, so today I noticed that at my pc at work I could see the web chronology I had browsed at home on my mac. The problem was not to set up Chrome sharing options, rather the fact that Chrome grouped those chronology under "Andy's Mac", while my name is not Andy at all!
Came backe home, and under System Preferences/NEtwork my name is fine, and I am administrator.
Therefore my question for you experts: is there a hidden place on my mac where I should double check and make sure mac name or nickname on a network are what I want?

thanks a lot in advance

yes thanks, this is where I did it, not "network" as mistakenly stated

but everything is fine, so i really dont get it

this is driving me crazy
i realized there are localhostname, computername and hostname, but NONE of them is the one that I can see in the shared chronology from work
this is what I get from Mac terminal
