Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone can direct me to a site that has open source project that I can help in. I am trying to build my experience and I want to help in an open source project.

You could also try to identify a project via freshmeat http://freshmeat.net and see where it is hosted. Many OSS projects are open, but you won't be able to contribute to them publicly without the main developer's support.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

There's also GitHub.

Thanks! I will try to help out on a project from there. I hope it works out.

Oftentimes, you'll want to write patches for programs and send them to the developers. That way, they get to know you. Just telling them "hey, let me join" will probably not get you far. :)
