The title pretty much says it all. I had a AW series one that my daughter used for a very short time and left it home after she moved out. She told me I could pass it along to someone else so I gave it to the daughter of a friend.

When she tried to pair it, it say it was still activated locked to my daughter’s iCloud account. I had my daughter check her account (made sure it was the right email account) and she even sent me screen shots of both the devices listed in her account and the devices listed under “find my phone”. The watch is simply not in her account and it is not paired to her phone. I am usually good at this, but I am at a loss to figure out how to get rid of the activation lock.

I feel bad as I want my friend’s daughter to be able to use the watch. Any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks in advance.
