I recently tried loading Mac OS X server onto my PM 7600. I tried installing it onto an external HD but I had to boot of the CD install the software. The installer program under OS 9 tried to set up the computer to boot of the CD but it came up with an error message but still restarted. When it restarted the computer wouldn't boot of the Internal HD.

I booted of an External OS 8.5 HD and the internal HD did not mount at startup so I tried to use 'Drive Setup' to mount the drive. The Int. HD was listed there but when I click the mount button it still didn't mount. I tried updating the HD driver, used 'MT Everything' and also took it out and tried it on my Mac IIsi.

Is there a way of mounting or restoring the drive so that I will be able to access the data on the HD?
