I screwed up and forgot to register my new iPhone5 in the member center before attempting the ios7v4 install! now it is frozen on the apple screen, how do I recover from this stupidity.

Hold sleep/power button and home button, once it reboots, continue holding the home button to put the phone in recovery mode.
