Hi Everyone, I need some help.

My iPad Pro 10.5" is on iOS 12.4 Beta and I upgraded to iPadOS public beta. Since the update the iPad gets stuck booting every time.

I can't use iTunes to do a fresh restore because I can only get 12.3.1 through iTunes and my back up is on 12.4.

I restored to 12.3.1, then downloaded the Public Beta on the fresh 12.3.1 OS and it booted fine. After restoring from back up on iPadOS, everything seemed fine until later on when I checked the iPad to see if all of my data downloaded... it was dead. After booting it i'm again stuck at the boot screen.

My Questions:

Anyone else experiencing this with an iPad that was on 12.4 Beta?

Can I get access to the IPSW file for the iPad OS public beta or iOS 12.4 Beta without developer access? (I'd like to avoid spending the $99)

If I can't do the update from 12.4 -> iPadOS, how can I get back to 12.4 so I can restore my iPad using by back-up?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

IPSW files for both iPadOS and iOS 12.4 beta are available here (censored)
Umm, it is against the rule to post link directing to unofficial Apple software website in the forum.
To the OP, if you don’t want to pay $99/year, download beta profile from Apple public beta program and update from there. At this point, you might have to do a DFU restore and update to iOS 12.4 beta before restoring the backup if you have one.

Actually that website only has developer beta profiles....
[doublepost=1561490663][/doublepost]I can't find access to the 12.4 public beta anymore so it looks like I need to spend the $99... Ugh... serves me right... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry, wasn't aware that was a rule

@odHbo The second developer beta is the same build as the first public beta. Maybe install iPadOS using the IPSW file for the second developer beta and then install the public profile.

Just to clarify, this requires developer access, correct?

Ok, I’m back on 12.4 so I could use my back-up. That problem is solved. @benshive Thank You !

So has anyone else had an issue installing iPadOS PB on top of 12.4?

At this point I’m going to wait for the next public beta update since I tried twice and my backup seems to corrupt the iPadOS install.
