Hey everyone

I was using an iphone 2G, running 3.0 firmware, jailbroken and unlocked.

I was trying to wipe my iphone 2G (which I was selling) and unfortunately chose the "erase all content" option. After an hour of cursing I finally restored my iphone, but the phone restored to 3.1.2. Now I can only receive calls or make them via the "emergency" tab. I can't seem to access the OS.

Is it possible to salvage simply by jailbreaking to 3.1.2? Thanks!

Try a DFU restore without the SIM in the phone. Then use blackra1n to unlock/jb I believe you will need a wifi connection so blackra1n can download cydia and the sn0w unlock.

You don't need to put the phone in DFU mode since you already restored. Just run blackra1n and follow the directions.
