Here is my story:

I have purchased an iphone 3G 16gb white (2.0) on ebay some time back from USA.

The phone was activated (the phone menu would load and all the features will work even without a sim inserted).

It was locked to AT&T as I understand as it did not accept any other sims. However I got it unlocked with a chip unlocking sim . Worked OK. P.S I live in Middle East.
I decided to sell the phone and thought of erasing all the data (music/images) at once, so I went into the settings and clicked the full data/settings reset (which warns you that it will take 2 hours) to complete. I left it to complete.

And now bad new:

When I switch it on, it says please insert a valid and unlocked sim to activate the iphone.
I did this:
>Insterted the chip unlocking sim AND my current sim and then connected it to Itunes on my windows PC. It says cannot activate as information is missing on the sim that is needed to unlock.

> Then I tried to insert only my sim card alone, it also gave me the same error.

My question is, what to DO? How can I get my iphone 3g back to life? I need to activate it, what tools will help me? WinPwn? Pwnage tool?

I will really appretiate your help and support! Thanks in advance.
