Help iPhone 3g won't work!!

I have an iPhone 3g that won't let me restore the phone...it gives an error saying iPhone can't be restored error (23)


What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried recovery mode? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

according to the image in the 2nd article, my phone is in recovery mode and iTunes does say its in recovery mode, but when I use iTunes to restore, it is then that i get an error saying can not restore due to error (23)

well i went to the apple store today and the guy went in the back and came back telling me their was mold inside the phone that apparently happened from coffee damage...i don't rem ever spilling coffee near this phone

Maybe your phone was scretely drinking coffee.
