HELP!! Iphone 3gs not turning on after battery got hot

Hi,

I dropped my Iphone 3Gs and it turned off and got really hot.
I replaced the battery and reset the Iphone by holding the power button and he home button. The Iphone then got really hot again and never turned on.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Is the phone dead or do you think i can fix it?

Please help if you have any idea on what i need to do to fix my baby!!

I had this happen to my 2g iPhone. It's toast bro. Go to Apple and they may replace it. That's no good my friend.

Just happened to my wife's 3GS two weeks ago. She had it in her pocket when it happened and left some minor burns. But we took it to Apple and they said, oh well, buy a new one for $199.
