help iphone 4 keeps restarting !!!!

help this iphone 4 keeps restarting.. it gets to the apple logo and just shuts off.. It's not coming up in itunes.. someone tell me how to fix this .. it's driving me crazy..

apple replaced the iphone 4 . they didnt explain what made it do that...
