[HELP] iphone 4, stuck in recovery mode!

I bought an iphone a couple weeks ago & didnt like the apps the person had installed. I decided to restore it & did not know that I would be "locked out" of it. My iphone screen currently says "No SIM card installed, insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iphone". It is locked with fido but we do not have a fido where I live. I would like to unlock it so I can use it on the sasktel network. I have restored in numerous times, did absolutely nothing. I tried tinyumbrella & that didnt work either, I also tried the hold down the power& home button trick, that didnt do anything either. Im fed up with recovery mode & waiting for my gevey card. (It was suppose to arrive two weeks ago)

If you know how to get out of this, please post here!
Im not sure what else you need to know, Im running 4.3.3.

sorry you should not of restored an software unlocked phone, what happened was your baseband has been updated and its not reversable
 
Well you obviously didnt even read my post.
If you did, you would of noticed I said,
im sick of waiting for my gevey card.
It was suppose to arrive two weeks ago!
Nothing else I can do?

nothing else I didn't read your whole post because the first part tells it all

FYI apple had already blocked the gevey sim in iOS 5 beta 2 so when iOS 5 is finally released hold off on updating to you are confirmed it works

There's no way to "get out of it". The most you can do for now is jailbreak with Redsn0w and that will activate your phone so you can at least use it for everything except a phone until your Gevey gets here.

My advice would be to just sell it on Kijiji and then buy a factory unlocked from the Apple store.
