Help! iPhone blue/black static lines

After trying to upgrade my operating system and restore my iPhone, my phone keeps showing different variations of black and blue static lines (see attached photo), going to a black screen then showing the silver apple screen over and over again in a cycle.

Any ideas on what to do? Please help!

It sounds like the phone is in a reset loop. The software on the iPhone may be corrupt or otherwise damaged. Is there an iTunes or iCloud backup of the phone? Try placing the iPhone in recovery mode and restoring. Initially set up the phone as new; only after you have confirmed it activates and powers on successfully should you consider a restore from your iTunes or iCloud backup.
