help iphone mail

hi

i have a couple of questions

1- if i set up an email account on the iphone will it be connected to the internet
all the time( because obviously it would cost me money).

2- how do i set up a hotmail account on the iphone mail.

1 - It will connect by push or fetch, depending on what you set, or it will fetch manually when you go into mail. It all depends on your settings in Settings. Why do you say it will obviously cost you money?

2 - JUst go into Settings>Mail...>Add Account>Other>Add Mail Account

it will cost money because when ever you go into the internet without a router it will cost money and when i am out driving it will connect to the internet
that is why i asked if it connects manually or automatically

Do you not have an unlimited data plan?

What country/service provider are you using?

and i am in the usa with t-mobil
