HELP iphoto crashed

Hi, so today i was uploading some pictures from my camara and as soon as the tranfer was donw my computer crashed because my battery is not working properly and one of my friends umpluged my power cable.
Bow when i try to open my iphoto all i get is the spinning ball and after 30 seconds iphoto stops responding and i have to force quit.
Ant suggestion, i have tried using the disk utility finxinf all the permissions, also tried using Onyx but nothing worked.

anyone know what is going on?

Library file could be corrupt, all sorts of things. Try holding opt-command while opening iPhoto to access some library repair options.
