Help - Iphoto pics turned into question mark

Hello - Hope you can help me,

I'm transferring my photos in Iphoto to Dropbox but now I cannot see my photos in iphoto when I open it...it just shows an exclamation mark when I open each photo. However events are there and number of photos in each event folders.
