It was jailbroken, that's why I was restoring it. I wanted to take it to the at&t store to activate it, and wasn't sure if it was ok to have it jailbroken, and i didn't care anyway, so...
But anyway, when I tried restoring it, it got stuck in recovery mode, and NOTHING helps. Here's my question to you... If I take it to the apple store for fixing... shouyld I tell them that it was jailbroken? Will they figure it out? I know it voids the warranty... so maybe they won't even try to fix it if they know it was jailbroken...

(also, any advice on fixing this myself would be appreciated, as well.)

AT&T doesn't care to much about Jailbroken. Apple Does care they won't help you if it is. Try plugging your phone in with Itunes also download Tiny Umbrella and kick it out of recovery. btw your phone is activated through Itunes not at&t. this is how to put you phone in DFU mode a jb best friend! :D
