Hi,

I was adding songs to my ipod last night when the database screwed up, and now it won't display any songs, and the database file on the ipod is empty, is there a way to like have it make its own? all my songs r still on it, but theres no database :(
So it lists no songs on it but i only have 2gb free and i have 2600+ songs :(

reset it. If that doesn't work, go into the iPod utility in /Appz/utlilities or whatever, and choose to erase the iPod and start over. You *do* still have all the files on your computer right?

ya i do, but even if i didn't i could just copy all the files from the ipod

thats what im doing, some of the tags got ****ed tho, im just fixing those :D

what type of computer/ipod do you have? AFAIK, you cant copy files from the ipod to the computer without hacking it due to legal issues.

or u can just unhide the folders and click the music one where they are all stored :D and this is on windows and my ipod is fine now so its all good
