iPod touch [HELP!!!] iPod touch 4g in soft DFU and progress bar not loading/ black screen

I have iPod touch 4g and these are the problems:
-iPod won't turn on
-only turns on to the apple logo when I try to restore it
-when restoring it, the progress bar doesn't move (none)
-according to redsn0w, it's in soft DFU mode

It started when I dropped the ipod on its back without case and it stopped functioning...

Did you try turning it off while in a charger and then holding down the home button for 10 seconds? That normally puts it in restoration mode. The apple symbol will go away and itll say to plug into your pc to reset or sometjing like that

I already tried that but it doesn't work. I can't turn on the ipod, only when I plug it into the computer and click restore will it come to life with the apple symbol and progress bar.
