iPod touch Help! Ipod touch bottom screen problem,

Hi i need help, I just received my ipod touch from: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/
at first it looked ok, but a few days ago i noticed a light gray/white dotted pattern on the bottom of the screen, heres a picture of it:

What can i do about it? It certainly isn't how the ipod touch is supposed to look like right?
Will Apple.com accept it back, or give me a refurbished model? Also if this is any helpful, mine came in a John lennon case.. Please help, i was so excited to get this and i have all my music in there (900+ songs) already. What do i do?

That's the dock. They changed the way it looks on 1.1.3.
