iPod touch Help iPod touch wont turn on or charge or connect

HELP!!!! My ipod wont charge i cant turn it on and it wont connect to my computer....I cant do a hard reset either(hold in power button and menu button at same time) Is my ipod broke or something? and if I send it in to apple with the one year warranty could i get it fixed or exchanged for a new one?

If you are inside of the Apple 1 yr warranty and the device is in good shape (no cracks in glass or excessive scrapes/etc(accidental damage). They should swap the device for you.

When you plug in the device to your computer is it recognized in iTunes?

Can you hear any sounds coming from the device?

nope no sounds and it wont connect the batteries dead and when you click the button for the power it says the battery needs charged but mine doesnt do that and okay I hope they do
