help, it won't let me save .jpegs on my desktop from email attachments.

My notetaker(I am disabled) scanned all the notes as .jpegs and sent them all as separate files and when I click to download them it just opens a new tab. When I try toright click and save it saves it to my desktop as .html and shows all of this weird characters. Please help, I need these for the final. Thanks.

what email software are you using?

Its hotmail, although I am not sure that is what you are asking.

When you do your Right Click>Save As, check to see what format its trying to save it in. Check the Format setting. When you do want to view them you can do an Open With and select perhaps a browser to view them with.
