i recently purchased 2 cds on itunes and the songs (about 40) began to download. I had to leave so i quit itunes. When i opened itunes again, the songs should have reappeared on the downloads folder and started downloading again, but nothing came up. So, i clicked "check for purchases" and 400 songs began downloading -- songs that i already had, and most of which i had bought years ago. I'm pretty sure it is re-downloading my entire purchased library, but in no particular order. i checked my account to make sure they werent charging me again and everything on my purchased list in my account was in order. The songs that were downloading do not appear in the download folder. But now my startupdisk is full and the duplicates in the downloading folder won't go away!
My brother recently lost his library and re-downloaded his purchased library. He was looking for missing songs and might have given apple MY email address, which may be why my purchased songs are being re-downloaded.

HELP!!
