Okay people... I have quite a bit of music on my Mac Mini and so when I got bored of my old screensaver (I think it was Flurry actually still) I thought it'd be fun to try out some of the other savers, and I settled on the saver that shows all your iTunes artwork flipping back on itself because with all the different albums I have on the machine you end up with a picture that constantly changes and you don't see the same thing twice for ages.

Thing is though... when the saver first starts, they aren't in full colour. They're ONLY in red. No green, no blue. Just a red-scale. And for the first few times the saver would only run in red.

So feeling a bit miffed, I trashed the relevant preference lists, including Quartz just in case, but to no luck. No matter what I did, the album covers were red and red only.

Then I noticed something very very odd. When the saver was running, with all the albums in red, every time an album that I had bought after selecting the screensaver showed up, it was in full colour. The same can be said for every single sew album since then.

I'm really at a loss over this... I'm generally good with computers but this has me flummoxed. I just cant understand why all the older artwork shows up red and all the new in proper colour!

Can anybody help? Many thanks!
