HELP! iTunes Won't Play Long Files

I cannot figure this one out. Any time I have a long file, over 15 minutes long, iTunes will not play the whole thing. It will go through anywhere between 1/4 and 1/2 of the file and just stop playing. It does not freeze the program, just the audio or video. This happens on all Diggnation and TWIT podacasts, as well as, Lost and Grey's Anatomy. Also, iTunes won't sync my podcasts and movies correctly to my iPod, even though I have all of the settings correct. Plese help me with this one.

Strange. Are you using a Mac or a PC? Do you have any third party plugins for iTunes?

What version iTunes are you using?
I had similar problems once, found an iTunes mirror site, downgraded iTunes, and then reupgraded it from Apple and it worked very well.

I am running a 2.0 Ghz Macbook with iTunes 7.0.1

Try opening up a new user account in System Preferences and see if you get the same problem from there.
