[Help] Jailbreak questions

Hi everyone
I'm a newbie to iOS world, and, to be honest, I don't even have an iPhone yet.

And... I want to get some information and don't just have it and flash it straight away. So, can anyone inform me or redirect me to a thread where I can check:

• The risks of jailbreak
• Is jailbreak a revertable process
• I'll have an iPhone 4. Is iPhone 4 (GSM) the non-CDSMA version?
• Can I install Cydia and unlock my iPhone?
• Will I lose warranty or I can put it in its original state?
• Can I backup my information?

EDIT: I read iPhone 5 will be released in Summer, but this is a very expensive phone, and I had the luck of win it.
Will iPhone 4 get outdated soon?
