Help Jailbreaking iPhone 3G

Step 1: Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed(iTunes 9.2).
Step 2: Download iOS 4 for iPhone 3G to your desktop from our iPhone downloads section.
Step 3: Update your iPhone to iOS 4 via iTunes.
Step 4: Download the latest version of RedSn0w (redsn0w 0.9.5b5-5)
Step 5: Point RedSn0w to the iOS 4 you downloaded in step 2.
Step 6: Select Install Cydia.
Step 7: Follow the onscreen instructions.
Step 8: Let RedSn0w do the hard work for you. Once jailbroken, your iPhone will reboot.

Im not trying to unlock because I am on AT&T and I do not need to hackitivate my iPhone.
However, I was reading that it was an issue with b4 and b3 and that b5 fixes this issue, but I do not have internet and that is a problem because if I use the 4.0.1 software to jailbreak iTunes wont let me restore without verifying **** with Apple.
But I might try it just for fun because I will have internet in a few days and if I can't restore oh well.
