Help! Keyboard won't disappear!!!

I jailbroke my 3GS a few days ago and now all of a sudden, my keyboard won't disappear! It always shows up on the lock screen (so I have to use the numbers from the keyboard to unlock the phone). It also shows up on the main home screen. I tried to turn my phone off and back on but I'm still having the same problem. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Is this a jailbreak bug or something? Help!!!

I know that you said you rebooted it, but have you tried restarting springboard?

Just did it, it worked! Thanks!!!!! What does it mean to restart the springboard (sorry I'm a noobie)? Is it sort of like rebooting (without actually turning the phone off and on)?
