Hi all, I'm having massive issues with the latest El Capitan update. My mbpr restarted and I am at the login page. So I entered my password and there is a progress bar that shows the update installing. Problem is it goes halfway and then the whole laptop will shutdown.

I've resettled pram and smc ( although I'm not sure if it was done correctly because there was no indication. I read from a site that the MagSafe light will change for a sec to indicate that but mine didn't)

I also don't know if I managed to reboot into safe mode. Because I'm still at the login screen and I don't see anything different. The only difference I noticed is that when I entered my password and it goes into updating, the progress bar actually progresses almost to the end before the laptop shuts down too.

I also don't see to be able to go into recovery mode.
Help!
