Unfortunately, I dropped my apple watch 2 stainless steel model. The screen has no crack, however, it popped off. The watch still powers on, however, it is only responsive on the right side :(

I saw online you can buy adhesive to glue it back, however, I'm wondering if there is even a point with the left side of the screen not being responsive to touch. It's also out of Apple + care warranty.

Does anyone know what could cause only half the side to be unresponsive? Apple quoted $350 to repair it, but at that price I think it's better just go with an aluminium apple watch 3 or 4.

try to glue it or replace screen for cheap at a 3rd party location, otherwise wait 4 months for series 5 to be released and previous models will be discounted then get series 3 or 4. not worth to spend $100+ on that at this moment

True, I already see lots of retailers (Canada) are already discounting the iWatch. iWatch 4 is discounted $60 at many retailers.
