HELP Lion is possessed ....

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to keep my reverse scrolling on, in Lion..it does not matter whether the natural scroll button is checked or unchecked, it will reverse scroll for a few moments then it reverts back..ugh!! Anyone know why this happens and what I can do to fix the problem?

With what actual hardware (Mac and pointing device) does that happen?
Is Mac OS X updated?
Do you have any system modifications installed?
