Help! Locked out of Destination volumes (Hard drive) G5

PowerMac G5 Dual Late 2005 2.0 ghz was trying to upgrade G5 via Tiger, but Tiger 10.4 would not upload. Erased harddrive to do this, now there is no os and any attempt to reinstall gives me red stop signs saying I can't upload to this drive! Does not recognize flashdrive with osx to boot from flash. Then I bought grey G5 installation disks and screen went black and white with text say to reboot. This also happened several times with earlier versions of Tiger. With version 10.4.3 installer is recognized, but I am still locked out of volume destination (hard drive). Don't know what to do next!!!

Is the 10.4.3 a black retail disc? Is the G5 restore discs for your model?
