Among the starlings
(Please excuse the shoddy typing. my backup keyboard is a POS.)

Last night I had to do a forced shutdown of my PowerMac, and when I booted it this morning, myLogitech wireless set was no longer recognizedby the system. So far I've rebooted (a fwe times) with the receiver plugged directly into the tower, and uninstalled / reinstalled the Logitech "control center" software.

This happened before, a few months ago, but i can't remember how it got fixed.

What else should I try?

After sleeping and waking and pressing the "connect" button on the receiver, the mouse is working again, but not the keyboard. any ideas?

EDIT: to follow up.... after a few more sleep / wake cycles, I was able to get the keyboard working by pressing the connect button on the receiver, then the keyboard, then the mouse, in that order. ANy other order leaves you with at best a working mouse and at worst nothing. (Logitech s520 set, btw)
