Hello...been reading MacRumors for years but this is my first post.

Config:
TiPB400 running 10.4.11
Address Book ver. 4.0.6

My wife entered some very important address' into Address Book on my Powerbook. Not knowing it, I did a .Mac to computer sync of AB on the PB, losing all the important AB entries because I told it to replace the PB AB with the .Mac AB.

Trying to repair the damage, I looked in trash and found a single contact file which I pulled out and dragged into AB. Turns out it was a duplicate contact.

This is were I screwed up. By adding that single contact I altered the "AddressBook.data.previous" file thus changing the AddressBook.data.previous file that I really needed. Man, I should have never dragged that stupid duplicate contact into AB!!!

I know this because I changed the name of the "previous" file to AddressBook.data. The current AB has 1950 contacts in it and the previous AB has 1949. This is not the previous file I need.

My question: Is there a way to retrieve the AB from a few days ago? I'm running FileSalvage right now, but I don't know what I'm looking for? Anyone have an idea how to mine the data from the trash or hard drive?!
Thanks!
