I have a mac book 10.4.7, i've had it for around a year now (don't know if this is relevant....) Every time I go to switch the computer on, it makes the starting up sound and then i am left with a blank screen. I have to reset the PRAM in order for the computer to come on. I'm a bit worried about having to do this every time.... I'm not sure if its good for the computer and its definitely not normal.:confused:

If anybody knows what i should do to get the computer on without resetting PRAM, that would be great. I thought i'd ask here before going to the mac shop :apple:

thanks! :D
