Help - Macbook 2,1 Screen replacement

Good Morning

Unfortunately i smashed the screen on my Macbook 2,1 (Black Model) last week

Could someone suggest a company (In the UK) to use to get it repaired?

Also - roughly how much would it cost?

I live in the Midlands so anywhere in and around there

* I have already have the laptop replaced by my insurance company so have a shiny new Macbook Pro but would still like to get the old Macbook fixed

Apple will do it but probably for about 300 quid. Displays aren't cheap so that's probably the price you would pay in most places.

If you can get a cheap one on ebay, it is possible to do yourself within about 2 hours.

£300 it more than i wanted to spend - Not sure about buying one of ebay and giving it a go - think id cock it up
