So, I just bought a new 15" MBA for my wife, using her current 13" 2021 MBA as a trade-in. Well, this morning when I went to charge up the old MBA so that we could migrate to the new MBA I discovered that neither of the USB-B ports is connection to charge. I've tried multiple cables and power adapters. Is there something else I can check for or try? If we can't get the old MBA to charge I guess we're screwed for migrating her data and using it for a trade-in. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Was the old MBA left to discharge for months? Leave the charger connected overnight.

Thanks for replying. No, not left to discharge for months. When plugged in the charging icon doesn’t appear in the battery icon and it doesn’t appear to be charging.

When you say you've tried multiple chargers, have you used the Apple one like the one that came with the device?
You probably have but it does make a difference when a machine is very discharged. Some chargers just don't work at a lower enough power and so simply don't recognise the machine as being there. I've seen this on multiple devices.

Thanks. I have been using non-Apple chargers so I will grab the charger that came with the MBA.
