I know this issue has been addressed before constantly in macbook pros, and the solution is to go through the ati settings to clone the monitor.
However, for my macbook, In bootcamp, I am in the intel 965 express chipset menu underneath the advanced check mark spot when you right click -> properties on the xp desktop.
The gui tells me there is only a notebook display available, even when I connect my mini dvi -> dvi -> hdmi to my tv.
I've tried the extended desktop / set as primary monitor setting too
This is so frustrating because I spent so much time realizing that no media player on os x (until vlc e gets released) is capable of playing 1080p 1500 kbps DTS .mkv files due to the lack of multiple core support in the os x media players. (mplayer crashes on me).
I finally boot camped windows and the .mkv files play great! but now I can't have an external monitor! AHHH.
Anyone do this successfully/have any advice. Any would be appreciated.
Thanks.
p.s I used bootcamp in my leopard install disk.
