Ok...I have a macbook pro and it is spazzing out on me. First the cam stopped working and then when I went to try and fix it in system preferences all of the preferences were gone. I went to see if I had accidently deleted them and they were in the trash, but they weren't. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can fix these problems?

You have system preferences for your isight camera? I don't think there are any..
As far as I know the camera only works when you open a piece of software that uses it, eg: skype, photo booth. There are no user controls or easily available preferences for it.
