Hello,

I noticed an interesting aspect to the new macbook pro's energy saving preferences when it comes to screen dimming. When using "automatically adjust screen brightness" if I set the screen brightness to half or below, it reduces the screen light if the ambient light decreases. Now if I have it set to high (max or one to two notches below) the screen will increase brightness when the ambient light decreases. This doesn't make sense to me since logically you would need less brightness if the room is darker.
To test go ahead and head to displays settings and watch the brightness bar when you place your hand over the isight area of the screen (where the sensors are located)
One last question, is there a way to make the keyboard backlight adjust to ambient light as well? It seems as though you can only set a certain brightness level and it will never adjust from that point.

Thanks
