HELP: Macbook Pro wont power up

Macbook pro froze so i shut it down using the power button.

Now wont turn on. The white light comes on for 8 seconds and then goes off.

If i try it without the battery and use the power adapter only it wont even light up for a second.

I am on holiday in the UK and desperatewly need my info etc.

Take it in to an Apple store there. If you're lucky, you just need a new power adapter.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it wasnt that simple apparently the logic board (only 2 months since being replaced) failed again.
